Musical history:
1984 or '85 Got my first acoustic guitar.
I almost went to music school to play it, but just before it started I chickened out. God damn! That episode ruined my chances to become a guitar hero and a very sexy hunk!!! ;-)
1988 first band 'Reckless'. Clash style trio. I started as a guitar player but since the bass player sucked so bad, we kicked him out and I was 'forced' to take on the bass.
1991 'Light Noise'. Pop-Rock band. (First studio Demo '93)
1994 'Lino'. Progressive pop-rock.
Late 90's I played some bass parts to Riku's solo project.
2000 'Dr. Strangelove' Beat-pop-rock cover band.
2005 'The Phase'
2005 Acoustic duo playing covers like Dylan, Neil Young etc
2006 ...still forced to play bass

TOP 5 most influential artists so far: Ok let's try; Richard D. James, Tom Jenkinson, Frank Zappa, Geir Jenssen and Tom Lehrer. I'd also like to include Brian Eno and lot's of other musicians but if we really are limited to number five I guess that's what I'll squeeze out.

Musical history:
1991 I was a drummer in my first real band called 'Brain Damage', I believe we performed live once?
1993 I was a drummer in 'Menhir', a progressive rock band, a continuum of 'Brain Damage'
1996 At around this time I started experimenting with recording sounds and 'finding my own voice' so to speak, especially a very distinct sound I achieved by looping a distortion box to itself via a mixing board coupled with a multi effects processor, I guess around this time I formed my solo project 'Melancholy Brigade', though I have never performed live as a solo artist as M.B. (yet), you might find M.B. music somewhere if you follow few clues... ;)
1997-1999 I played drums in a band that never performed live, I like to call this band 'Green Cube' because that's where we played in, in a big green cube...
2000-2002 I played drums in a band that never did any gigs nor had a a name, how peculiar...
2001 I joined the most funkifying band in Finland, 'Sexual Kenny And His Marvellous Pets' as the drummer 'Ali Ben-Allah Funk Chebab'!
2002 I was asked to join a cover rock band (as a drummer, surprise surprise!) called 'Piece Of Cake', so that's what I did!
2003 joined a rock band called 'Agathon's Legacy'. I also formed a jazz oriented duo called 'Big Organization' with a wonderful keyboardist and person Heikki Hiltunen, as usual I play drums
2004 I guess I joined the 'bleasiest' band in the whole wide world called 'The El Tajo Mad Dogs Blease Band', I guess...
2005 I joined 'Phase' (later 'The Phase') as a drummer, thus closing a long and wide circle with Riku
2006 I quit playing in Agathon's Legacy, therefore having more time concentrating on active projects like The Phase
2007 I joined a nice "rootsy" band called Moonshine Blues
2008 I was cunningly adopted into a band called 'Eternal Truth' ( featuring Larry Price ), and why not cause it's great to play soulful and groovy music every now and then!
2008 As cunningly as it started, even more cunningly the 'Eternal Truth' band ceased to exist under obscure circumstances. Well, few lucky people witnessed what the band was capable of on-stage!
2009 Good things are round (reference to female sex) and best things go in big circles, after few years it seems Agathon's Legacy is back in it's original form only better than ever, just watch out Finnish music scene!
2010 I joined a band called 'Another Vision' thus playing again after a long while with excellent bass player M. Talstila.
